The rights and obligations of the parties when using the StokX service.

1. Parties to the Agreement
These terms of use (the "Terms") are entered into between StokX (the "Provider") and the natural or legal person using the application and/or the website (the "User").
By starting to use the application or the website, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
StokX is a cloud-based mobile and desktop application that enables small and medium-sized businesses to manage their inventory, customer account and operational data. The service requires an internet connection to work; your data is stored on our servers under your account and is synchronised across the devices you sign in on. The service is provided under the StokX Pro subscription; new users receive a 14-day free trial (see Section 5).
3. Account and User Responsibilities
- The User uses the application on their own behalf and within legal limits.
- Account security is the User's responsibility; keeping the sign-in credentials (email, password) confidential and setting the biometric lock/passcode on the device are up to the User.
- The same account may be signed in on more than one device; the User is responsible for access on all devices.
- All data entered into the application belongs to the User; the Provider is not responsible for the accuracy of this data.
- Backing up important data and taking precautions against data loss are recommended.
- The User may permanently delete their account and data at any time from within the application (My Account → Delete Account).
4. Prohibited Use
The following conduct is expressly prohibited:
- Reverse engineering the software or attempting to extract its source code,
- Running automated tools that would degrade or abuse the service,
- Carrying out actions that infringe the rights or data of third parties,
- Creating or storing unlawful content,
- Reselling or distributing the software without a licence.
5. Subscription and Payment
5.1. Scope and free trial
The features of StokX are provided under the paid StokX Pro subscription. New users are granted a 14 (fourteen) day free trial after creating an account. When the trial ends, access to the application stops unless a subscription is purchased. Loss of access does not mean your data is deleted; once a subscription is started, your data becomes accessible again exactly as it was.
5.2. Purchase channel
The subscription is sold only through the Apple App Store and Google Play, by way of in-app purchase. The Provider does not collect subscription fees directly by bank transfer, EFT, credit card or any other method, and does not offer any payment route inside the application other than these channels. Your payment details (card number, bank information, billing address) are not transmitted to the Provider.
5.3. Durations and price
The subscription durations offered are 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months; all of them renew automatically. Current prices are shown on the subscription screen inside the application, in the currency of your country. Prices may differ from country to country according to the regional price tiers set by the relevant store.
5.4. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless automatic renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews for the same duration and the fee is charged to your store account within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
5.5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- iOS: Settings → (your name) → Subscriptions
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; your access continues until the end of that period. If you purchase a subscription while still within the free trial, the unused portion of the trial is forfeited.
5.6. Refunds
Since the purchase is made through the relevant store, refund requests are also handled by that store: reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple, play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions for Google Play. Where a subscription is refunded by the store, access to the application ends immediately.
5.7. Price changes
If the subscription price changes, you will be informed by the relevant store before the change takes effect. No charge is made at the new price without your consent.
5.8. Existing users
Users who created an account before the subscription system came into effect are granted a 30 (thirty) day free transition period starting from the day the system goes live. All features remain open during this period; if no subscription is started by the end of it, access stops. Your data is not deleted.
5.9. Staff accounts
Staff accounts linked to a business account (cashier, warehouse operator, field sales representative) are covered by the subscription of the business account they belong to; they do not require a separate subscription. When the business account's access ends, the access of its staff accounts ends as well.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual and industrial property rights, including the application, the brand, the logo, the content and the visuals, belong to the Provider. Using the service does not transfer these rights to you. Data produced by the User remains the User's property.
7. Changes to the Service
The Provider reserves the right to add, remove or change features and to revise plans and prices. Significant changes are announced by in-app notification or email.
8. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is". The Provider cannot be held liable for data loss, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount collected from the User over the last 12 months.
9. Termination of the Agreement
The User may terminate the agreement by cancelling their subscription (see Section 5.5) or by deleting their account. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your data; permanent deletion of data requires following the My Account → Delete Account step inside the application. The Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service without notice in the event of a breach of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply to the interpretation and application of these Terms. The Courts and Enforcement Offices of Afyonkarahisar have jurisdiction over any disputes that may arise.
